El Tato This is awesome. I love a good retro soundtrack, and I just find it fascinating that these guys can invent a soundtrack to a film that doesn't exist.

Some great music in here, slightly 70s action music, gritty beats and suspenseful atmosphere.

I'm going to check out the rest of Jupiter-8's catalogue once I'm done listening to this gem. Favorite track: Taking The Garbage Out.

"Showdown" is a soundtrack album to a fictive early/mid 90s doom-like video game inspired by Doom, Duke Nukem 3D and the Dirty Harry movies.

A fun single from Android Automatic. "City Heat" is explosive disco with an outrun pace, an anthemic action tone, and guitar synth accents, including a rapid-fire solo near the middle of the track. It's dangerous while driving. "Last Kiss" is a gentler, slower track whose percussive claps feel so distant that they sound like snapping fingers. The thing that really grabs me about "Last Kiss" is the higher-pitched synth line, which along with the astral chords gives the track a very dreamy feel. kmxexii

Spaceship Android takes a trip to the beach. "Somewhere Along the Coast" is fun outrun in the sun with a disco beat that drifts in and out. "The Signal" begins with a lo-fi sound then cuts to normal with a spacey, astral sound. "Cruise" is another fun track that switches bakc and forth between funk and outrun with some nice guitar work. "Saw Her Yesterday" is my favorite, though, a slice of teen dreams with a bittersweet edge. Unrequited love? A past romance? The music's tone only tells so much. kmxexii
